What are Meijer mPerks??? Meijer mPerks are digital coupons you can use to save even more money when you shop at Meijer. I will walk you through the process of how mPerks works. First, visit Meijer.com and sign up with an account. I prefer to use a cell phone number as my log-in info. When you go to ring up your groceries you will enter this phone number (plus 4-digit pin) into the console at checkout.
This is the mPerks screen once you have logged in (on a desktop). Rewards can be earned when you buy specific amounts of certain items. Meat, produce, coffee, etc. When you have spent the specified amount (pre-coupon), you earn a reward AKA money to use on your next shopping trip. I have made a separate post just for rewards that can be found here.
Click on Coupons (or mPerks on mobile) and you will come across a screen like this. Hundreds of mPerks are available for you to clip. Not interested in a certain type of coupon or category? Click ‘no thanks’ to hide those coupons. You can sort by Suggested, Newest, Popularity, or Highest Value. mPerks are updated everyday so be sure to check in often.
Click Categories to help you search for a particular area of mPerks.
Some mPerks are manufacturer coupons and some are store coupons. mPerks that ARE manufacturer coupons may not be used with a paper manufacturer coupon. Click the ‘i’ for more info on a particular coupon and it will tell you what type of coupon it is.
This particular coupon is manufacturer coupon. That means if you find a Suave Body Wash manufacturer coupon in the newspaper you can either use the paper coupon OR the mPerk. You can not use both, unless you are buying more than one body wash.
This is an example of a store coupon. Sometimes they will require a minimum purchase, such a $3 off $15 in Apparel.
Here is an example of a store coupon that you could ‘stack’. Stacking is when you use a manufacturer AND a store coupon on the same item. For example, let’s say Duracell batteries are normally $4.99. Pretend they were on sale for $3.99. You could use this $1.00 off store coupon and drop your total to $2.99. And let’s say there was a $0.75 manufacturer (newspaper) coupon available for Duracell. You can use THAT coupon also. Now your total would drop to $2.24. You have now just paid less than 50% off on Duracell batteries.
Every so often Meijer offers an mPerks freebie. This will be a code you need to enter into your mPerks. The code will be something like ‘Sharpie15’ or ‘Yoplait15’. Enter it in the search bar above and hit Enter. Then click ‘coupons’, and clip your coupon!
Click on Wallet to see coupons that you have already clipped to your account. They will have a green checkmark in the corner like the ones in the above photo. Just click on any coupons you don’t need anymore and they will unclip.
Click on Receipts & Savings to see how much you have spent and saved this year. You can also view old receipts. Make sure to turn this feature ON!
When you go to checkout with a cashier you will need to enter your mPerks into the credit card console. Press the ‘mPerks’ button during your transaction and enter your phone number and pin. The coupons that you have clipped will be applied and the savings will come off automatically.
When you do self checkout, on the main home screen there is an ‘mPerks’ button. Tap the button and enter your phone number on the screen. When prompted, enter your 4 digit pin in the small credit card console nearby. You are now ready to go!
