Weekly Meal Deals With The Meijer Ad #2
Do you have trouble planning your weekly menus? Are you making what feels like the same meals every week? Never fear! We are here to help! Each week (hopefully), we will have a great meal plan ready to go for you.
A few things to keep in mind:
Prices are based on the Sunday market sales ad
Meals are planned for a family of four- if your family is full of big eaters, you may need to buy extra
You can always adjust if you don’t like something we have planned
We are planning 5 dinners- for the last two days try using leftovers on one day, and maybe eating out on the last day. Also, life happens, and you don’t always get to every meal. Planning 5 meals works perfectly for my family.
Remember, if you have these items in your stockpile already, you will save even more! This is a “from-scratch” list.

You should have these on hand:
Dry Dill (optional)
Pickle Relish (optional)
Butter/Jelly for Pillsbury biscuits
Ravioli, Steamed Broccoli, and Pillsbury Biscuits
You will need ravioli, spaghetti sauce, broccoli, and Pillsbury biscuits.
Cook ravioli per instructions on bag. Prepare Pillsbury biscuits according to package. Heat sauce in a sauce pan. Steam one crown of the broccoli. Serve ravioli in a bowl with sauce on top.
Side dishes: Broccoli and Pillsbury Biscuits
Chicken and Stuffing Tenders
You will need chicken, vegetable oil, eggs, stuffing, green beans, and Meijer Deluxe Mac and Cheese.
Use 1.5-2 lbs of the 3 lbs of chicken for these. Use this recipe to make the chicken tenders. Heat green beans in a sauce pan with a little water. Serve with butter and salt and pepper on top. Make macaroni according to package.
Side dishes: Green beans and Mac and Cheese
Egg Salad Pita Pockets
You will need eggs, pita, celery, 1/4 onion, mayonnaise, salt and pepper, Paqui chips, and blackberries. Dill and relish optional.
Prepare six hardboiled eggs. Dice them up and mix with diced onion, diced celery, mayonnaise, salt and pepper. If you want to add dry dill and relish, go ahead. Serve inside pita pockets.
Side dishes: Paqui chips and blackberries.
Teriyaki Chicken Stir Fry
You will need 1.5 lbs chicken, 2 stalks celery, 2 carrots, 1/4 onion, broccoli, white rice, teriyaki sauce, and apples.
This is one of those recipes I’m going to change up. Here is the original recipe. It will be cheaper to skip the homemade teriyaki and just used prepared sauce instead. Follow the rest of the recipe, omitting zucchini, and adding celery stalks and onion. White rice: put 3 cups water and 1.5 rice into cold saucepan. Heat to boiling, cover, and simmer for 25 min. Serve stir fry either on top or next to rice.
Side dish: Sliced apples. If you have leftover salad items you can make a salad.
White Beans With Spinach & Sausage
You will need sausage, spinach, cannellini beans, chicken broth, lettuce, 2 carrots, 2 celery stalks, tomato, 1/4 onion, pita bread.
Follow the directions for making the white beans with spinach and sausage here. While it is cooking make the salad. Dice lettuce, carrots, celery, and onion.
Side dishes: Salad and leftover pita bread or Pillsbury biscuits
