Weekly Meals With The Meijer Ad #47

Sunday market November 12-18

Thursday market November 16-22

Do you have trouble planning your weekly menus?  Are you making what feels like the same meals every week?  Never fear!  We are here to help!  Each week (hopefully), we will have a great meal plan ready to go for you.

A few things to keep in mind:

Prices are based on the Sunday market sales ad

Meals are planned for a family of four- if your family is full of big eaters, you may need to buy extra

You can always adjust if you don’t like something we have planned

We are planning 5 dinners- for the last two days try using leftovers on one day, and maybe eating out on the last day.  Also, life happens, and you don’t always get to every meal.  Planning 5 meals works perfectly for my family.

Rana Pasta, Salad, and Garlic Bread

We have this meal every few weeks it seems, but who doesn’t?  For the salad, use about 3/4 of the lettuce, all of the cucumber, all of the pepper, and half of the onion. While your pasta and sauce are heating up, whip the garlic bread together and throw it in the oven.  Use this recipe for the garlic bread.  If you want, save a few slices of green pepper to throw in your eggs (see meal plan below).

Red Velvet Cinnamon Rolls, Eggs, and Sausage

I came across this recipe in my magazine and can not wait to make these!!  Save a few eggs for the chicken tenders, but use the rest to make eggs however you’d like.   Use this recipe for the cinnamon rolls.  Save this recipe for when you have a few extra minutes to make dinner.

Chicken Tenders, Mashed Potatoes, and Green Beans

These may be my favorite chicken tenders ever!  My kids like them too!  Slice the chicken breasts into strips. Use this recipe to make them- let the kids crush the Stove Top in a baggie with a rolling pin.  Make mashed potatoes and green beans how you usually do.

Tacos, Rice, and Apples

Use the Mission Street Taco shells for your tacos.  Instead of buying taco seasoning, give a little sprinkle of the following: chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, paprika, cumin, and salt.  Prepare rice according to package directions.  Slice apples for an easy side.  Use the rest of your lettuce and onions, plus both tomatoes for the tacos.

Chicken Legs, Peas, and Roasted Potatoes

Use this recipe to make some cajun chicken legs- yum!  Use this recipe to make the potatoes.  Both recipes need the oven to be at the same temperature, but make sure you start the potatoes first as they need more cooking time.

Your total for everything should be:

–Use two $1/1 Rana Pasta from RP 10/8 or $1/1 printable

–Use $1/1 Sunset Grown printable

Your final total should be $32.52
